Located east of St. Vincent and St. Lucia, Barbados is a 431 square kilometres secluded island. Every years, thousands of tourists flock the island for its location and the beauty of its beaches.

Almond Beach Village is an all-inclusive resort located on the island of Barbados. This resort has its good and its bad, but like many reviewer mention, the good easily overweight the bad points.

The Good of Almond Beach Village:

The staff at Almond Beach Village is extremely friendly and helpful. Second time at the resort? You will be received like a king. Unlike most resorts, breakfast is buffet, but dinners are a-la-carte restaurant. Nevertheless, the food is simply outstanding. The beach is beautiful and the ocean by the resort is fairly calm (unlike other parts of the island where it can be rough). There are lots of chairs to ensure you always find a place by the beach or the pool. For watersport lovers, you will enjoy the panoply of watersport activities that are offered at that Barbados all-inclusive, many of which are free. If you are traveling without children, don’t forget to ask for a room by the adult-only pool and enjoying some quiet time by the pool.

The Bad:

One of the major complaint about Almond Beach Village is the fact that the resort is somewhat dated. Although kept very clean, the hotel would need to be brought up to date and modernized.

There is so much to see and to do on the island, including the caves, or a swim with the turtles. Almond Beach Village allows you to enjoy the relaxed pace of Barbados, the friendliness of its people and the beauty of the island at a great value.
