I remember the first time my boyfriend and I talked about going on vacation together, far away from the every day stress from work. I was dreaming Europe, backpacking and touring the best cafes of France, he was dreaming cozy laid back vacations sipping on Piña colada listening to the sound of the waves doing nothing but enjoying ourselves. This is when I got the all-inclusive fever. Oh boy was I pleasantly surprised. A startlingly low price for a trip to Punta Cana, with airfare included, 7 nights in a queen size bed room with meals included – buffets and a-la-carte restaurants.
Although I still like my idea of “backpacking” and touring Europe, I absolutely love going to all inclusive resorts every year. With years of traveling for both leisure and work, needless to say that I have pretty high standards when it comes to hotels and their amenities.
